Warwick Labour members kept campaigning for the party right up until the end of last term. On Sunday 23rd June, Vice President Mariam Tafsiri, Committee Members Dave Toulson and Luke Rigg and Publicity Officer Will Tucker accompanied WL member and Coventry St Michael’s councillor David Welsh for some leafleting in Westwood ward, Coventry to help out candidate Pat Seaman, who is looking to dislodge a Conservative incumbent in next year’s local elections.
Said Mariam, who as Vice President has special responsibility for external campaigning: ‘Campaigning with Pat in Westwood once again emphasised the asset that WL can be to the local area and how there are election battles to be won right on our doorstep.’
